Index recutters (single knife)

The programmable single knife index recutters are specially designed to recut paper tubes and cores with a great flexibility.

They offer easy operating, programmable cut lengths, low re-tooling costs, accurate cutting, superb cutting quality, fast size changeovers, job memory of thousands of recipes. They are therefore ideal for small and medium volume recutting jobs.

Cutting capacities up to 250 cuts per minute.
Diameter range from 15 to 550 mm (various models are available).
 

A special version of the ACTIFLEX recutter also exists to recut plastic tubes. This machine has a special cutting system and also includes a chip collector.

PAKEA also offers various automatic tube feeding systems are available:

• TA automatic table feeder, with a capacity of approx. 10 cores.
• STE automatic tube hopper/feeder with a floor hopper having a capacity of approx. 50 cores.
• RA automatic Rack Unloading Robot to automatically unload the tubes from a rack or a pallet (ideal for recutting tubes coming in racks from the dryer).

Semi automatic tube recutters

PAKEA offers single knife and multi-knife semi automatic paper recutters.

The semi-automatic recutters type CCU are ideal for in-house flexible cutting and for small volumes. They offer clean cuts and easy operation and low re-tooling costs.

Several models are available with diameter ranges from 12 mm to 650 mm.

Multi Knife recutters

Multi-knife recutters are specially adapted for the recutting of paper tubes and for medium and long runs. The manufacturing program of PAKEA mainly includes 2 types of recutters: the CCM 1506 specially used to recut tape cores, the CCM 1515 for the textile tubes. When very high speed are required, our 3-mandrel revolver recutters will be best.

It is sometimes important to have very accurate lengths and nice cutting quality even on long tubes. The only way to achieve this goal is to use a core trimmer to trim off both ends of a paper core. And this can be easily made on our core trimmer type CR. This machine has a unique cutting system with satellite knives guaranteeing a very straight and accurate cut.
